T.Volk Photography

While taking photographs down town I spotted the “Tacoma Walker”.  I nicknamed this man because of the numerous instances I have seen him walking all over Tacoma.  There have been days I have seen him on one end of town walking.  A half hour later he would be on the other end of town walking.  He is an enigma. 

I introduced myself and asked to take his photo.  He said, “I don’t care”.  I snap a few photographs and ask him, “How many miles do you walk everyday?”.  He responded, “I don’t count ‘em, I just walk ‘em.”

His tanned skin and thick beard are hiding a hundred beautiful stories.
